Guests will be taken on a guided tour through our Zoom haunted mansion where multiple rooms have been curated by artists, performers, and scholars whose spirits will haunt you as they explore horror’s relation to the arts & humanities and expose the horrors of “the everyday.” There will be filmed as well as live music, dance, magic, story-telling, and many horrific surprises in store that will terrify, educate, and then terrify you a little more. From the satirical to the truly blood-curdling, join us from the (relative!) safety of your own home two nights before Halloween for a haunted house experience like you've never had before as the DePaul Humanities Center celebrates the eighth annual Horror of the Humanities!

Featuring:

–Cameos by original cast-members from HBO’s “The Sopranos” telling scary stories!
–The 2nd Annual “Humanities Séance” featuring Professor Faustus
–Logan Berry & Chomp
–Side Show Matty and His Fabulous Freaky Forum
–Danielle Meijer
–The Bach & Beethoven Experience
–Peter Adventure
–Kathe Koja, author of The Cipher and Strange Angels
–Maryse Meijer, author of The Seventh Mansion and Rag
